Perform highly accurate low
temperature viscosity measurements with ISL's TLV25
system. Depending on the type of cryostat used, end
						temperatures of
						 -30ºC (KV40) or -60ºC (KV80) can be reached. Lower
temperatures are also available upon request.
						A microprocessor controlled heating
element ensures highly stable bath temperatures, even
when glassware is placed in the bath for measurement.
The setpoint can be set in steps of 0.1ºC from -90ºC to
60ºC (-130..140ºF). Overall system accuracy is better
						than ±0.03K.
						The TLV25 requires an external
cryostat. To maintain a stable temperature, the cryostat
must be capable of cooling 25 liters of liquid 5ºK below
the setpoint temperature. The following cryostats are
recommended and available from ISL as optional
						equipment:
						- KV40 Cryostat: enables cooling to -30ºC
						- KV80 Cryostat: enables cooling to -60ºC |
